Our Team

Corey Terry, like the plants he tills, is a homegrown member of Hindman Settlement School. Corey went graduated Knott Central High School and continued his education at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he got an associate’s degree in Biblical and Theological studies and, later, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Leadership. Corey is the husband to his high school sweetheart Liz and is the loving father to his three kids: Chloe, Eva, and the newest addition, Lucy. When Corey isn’t spending time with his little sprouts, he’s listening to Devil Wears Prada or a good podcasts while he dreams up ideas for the future of the farm.

Corey is the unofficial coffee maker for the office because Corey drinks coffee like fish drink water; every day starts and ends with the bean for Mr. Terry and for good reason. Corey’s caffeine addiction feeds his endless imagination.

Corey’s imagination is put to work on the Hindman Settlement School’s podcast, HindmanCast. However, it is one of the many things Corey devotes his time to. Corey is constantly wanting to jump from one project to the next, a trait many would attribute to over-caffeination, but it is simply Corey’s lack of quit and fanaticism for learning new skills that drives him. It is Corey’s enthusiasm and passion that make him a valuable member of the team.
