Arts & Crafts Educator

The Arts & Crafts Educator for Hindman Settlement School will possess a broad range of skills and abilities suited to community and school-based education in visual arts and handicrafts from Appalachia and beyond. The Arts & Crafts Educator will work closely with the Traditional Arts Director and other staff within the Settlement School to conduct existing and new initiatives within local partner public schools and in after-school settings across the region. S/he will also represent the Settlement School in a variety of public capacities. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong skillset in Appalachian visual arts along with strong relational and administrative skills.

The position has the flexibility to be either part-time (24 hours) to full-time (40 hours) with a salary range of $26,000 to $44,000.
