Sarah joined the Settlement family in August 2023 as our Flood Recovery Archivist. In this capacity, she oversees the restoration of the school’s archives through direct conservation activities and the training and coordination of volunteer groups.
A native of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Sarah earned her Bachelor’s degree in history from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City and her Master’s in Archival Management and History from Simmons University in Boston.
Any time you see Sarah, you’re likely to see her black lab Maisie at her side. They go everywhere together and love exploring new hiking trails and dog parks. This duo also enjoys knitting, hiking, streaming TV shows, reading, genealogy, and visiting places of historical importance.
